Trick to use a WhatsApp version that is outdated on Android and iPhone

This post reminds me of the good old days of Nokia Symbian operating system. Back then I use to be so obsessed with mobile phones(I still do with less intensity though). There is no trick or tweak that I won’t perform with y phone. I practically modified everything on my Nokia N95 8gb slide phone.  Yes, I know the topic of today has to do with using outdated WhatsApp. However, am just trying to prepare our minds and take us back memory lane. Before you can successfully hack a Nokia

Before you can successfully hack a Nokia Symbian phone(I doubt if we still have any active Nokia Symbian around nowadays), You will need to modify your phone’s date. The backdating of your phone allows you to successfully install the hacking apps like”Dr Web” and hellox. This is the exact trick that we are going to use I other to use an obsolete/outdated version of WhatsApp on your phone.

Using outdated WhatsApp version-the trick

Especially essential: The ultimate compilation of all WhatsApp tricks

You can wake up one day a see that your realise that your Whatsapp is not starting up normally. To simplify this, your WhatsApp is popping up the following message:

This version of WhatsApp became obsolete on 28-October-2015. Please go to Google Play Store to download the latest version.
Your device’s date is 31-October-2015. If this is incorrect please correct your device’s date settings then restart WhatsApp.
Unfortunately and to your utmost dismay, you have no other link available on the app other than the one that will force you to download the latest copy. Now, don’t get me wrong, WhatsApp has been doing regular and perioding updates from time immemorial. This has been the practice even before the acquisition by Facebook. It is good to always update all of your application as soon as the newer version is available. However, unlike most other application, you are sometimes left with no choice than to upgrade your WhatsApp immediately you receive that obsolete message.

This is what I am trying to work around. If you happen to be in a location where your internet is too weak to download anything, and you need to access some chat messages on your WhatsApp, you are in the right place.

Using outdated WhatsApp on your phone by changing your phones date

The message in whatsapp is the lead that we need. The message reads “f this is incorrect please correct your device’s date settings then restart WhatsApp”.

That is exactly what you need to do in other to get quick access to your message pending the time you get a good internet connection. Simply back date your phone’s date to at least two days before your WhatsApp expired. To do this on an Android phone, complete the followings:

go to settings>>date and time( If you are running Android Nougat 7 general management>>date and time)>>Turn off Automatic date and time if not already off>>select any date earlier than what is displaying on WhatsApp here.
Click okay>>restart your phone>>relaunch your WhatsApp and you are good to go.
