HIS INTENTION TO RUN FOR OBIO/AKPOR FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: DEDICATES HIS AMBITION TO THE BETTERMENT OF THE LGA

The pragmatic and dynamic leader of the APC in Obio/Akpor LGA, Hon. Chikordi Dike today made known to his community Ogbogoro his aspirations to represent the good people of Obio/Akpor in the Federal House of Representatives, popularly referred to as the Green Chambers.

Hon. Chikordi Dike disclosed this Noble intention in an APC stakeholders meeting of his chapter, Ogbogoro community in ward 16 Obio/Akpor APC.

The revelation of Hon. Chikordi Dike's ambition for the Green chambers ignited tremendous applause by the people and mass jubilation.

Hon. Chikordi Dike in his declaration assured the people that his interest for the seat of Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in the National Assembly is never Bourne out of personal interest rather of innate desire to see Obio/Akpor rise above the state of mediocrity which is being witnessed in this current dispensation.

An LGA APC officer, Mr. Vincent Wagbara, in reaction to the news, recounted the developmental predilection of Hon. Chikordi Dike during the few months he occupied the Obio/Akpor council as the caretaker Chairman and affirms that what awaits the people of Obio/Akpor with Hon. Chikordi Dike in the Green Chambers can best be imagined.

Between the period of December 2013 to may 2014, when Hon. Chikordi Dike was the caretaker Chairman of Obio/Akpor council, the people enjoyed tremendous inclusiveness which was evident in the empowerment of people which cuts across all the wards and virtually all the chapters in the LGA. This empowerment and inclusiveness did not leave behind the students community in the LGA.

The party stakeholders in Ogbogoro chapter in ward 16 Obio/Akpor who could not withhold their joy instantly resorted to free will contributions and donations to expressly show their support to the ambition of the leader, Hon Chikordi Dike.

While some volunteered to be his automatic campaign managers in the chapter, others made financial commitment of their widows might. Others also made different commitments in kind. To ensure his is victorious in the election.
